The Western Disturbance can be seen over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas. Due to this system, scattered rains are expected over the three hilly states of North India along with strong winds. Isolated pockets may see hailstorm activity as well.
Its induced cyclonic circulation can be seen over North Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab. A trough is also extending from this system across Haryana, Delhi up to West Uttar Pradesh. Thus, dust storm and thunderstorm along with light rains are likely over North Rajasthan, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh. Delhi will also see similar weather conditions with light rains making an appearance. Meanwhile, heatwave conditions are expected over western parts of Rajasthan.

Moving to East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is over Jharkhand, Bihar and adjoining West Bengal. The anti-cyclone in the Bay is also providing enough moisture along with convergence of winds. With this, scattered rains and thundershowers are expected over Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Sub Himalayan. Northeast India will also see rainfall activity. Kolkata is also likely to observe rain and thundershowers.
Talking about Central India, heat will be the dominant factor over the region including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Heatwave may be witnessed in pockets of Vidarbha and Marathwada. Mumbai will also witness hot and humid conditions.

Down South, the wind discontinuity is extending from Telangana to Interior Tamil Nadu across South Interior Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. A cyclonic circulation is also seen over the Comorin region. Thus, scattered rains are expected over parts of Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka. Isolated rains are also likely over Rayalaseema and Telangana. Bengaluru may also see some rains along with which Hyderabad rains may also make an appearance. Chennai will remain hot and humid. Meanwhile, rains are picking up in the Andaman region and a low pressure area is expected to develop during the next 48 hours or so.
