The previous Western Disturbance has now moved away and lies over was over East Jammu and Kashmir. Isolated rain and thundershowers are expected mainly over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Temperatures are expected to rise over the region. North westly winds with moderate speed are expected over many parts of West Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and East Haryana. Meanwhile, dust raising winds are also possible at some parts. Temperatures are also expected to rise marginally over the region. Delhi will witness a hot and windy day.

Heatwave type conditions are expected in parts of Vidarbha along with this a possibility to develop hot day condition over isolated pockets of Vidarbha. Temperatures will be above normal over the region. Isolated thunderstorm or light rain may occur over South Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Marathwada. Mumbai will observe a very warm and humid day with clear sky conditions.
A cyclonic circulation is prevailing over East Bihar and a trough is seen extending from Bihar to Manipur across Bangladesh. Another trough is also seen extending from this system towards Karnataka Coast across Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and North Karnataka. Isolated thunderstorm or light rain is expected in parts of East India. Day temperatures will rise. The coastal stations of Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal may witness windy conditions. Scattered moderate rains are likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura. Rest all the other northeastern states will receive light to moderate rains. A hot and humid day, with chances of thunderstorm is expect in Kolkata.

A trough is seen running along the coast of Karnataka and Kerala. Scattered light rain with one or two moderate spells is expected over Kerala, South Karnataka and adjoining Tamil Nadu.
