To begin with North India, the Western Disturbance lies over Jammu and Kashmir and its induced cyclonic circulation is over Punjab and adjoining West Haryana. Thus, moderate to heavy rain and snow are expected over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. However, by late afternoon intensity will increase. Light to moderate rain with few heavy spells will occur over Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, Delhi and North Rajasthan will receive light to moderate rains. Hailstorm may also occur over these states.
In Central India, due to the convergence of humid winds from Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea, we expect scattered rain over northern and central parts of Madhya Pradesh along with few parts of East Rajasthan. Minimums of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will increase further.
Weather of eastern parts of India will remain dry. However, light rains may commence over East Uttar Pradesh by late night. Day and night temperatures are expected to increase over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. Northeastern states will also witness dry and sunny weather.
