Weather Forecast Feb 5: Scattered rains over Srinagar, Chamba, Dharamshala

After a gap of three days, a fresh Western Disturbance has approached Western Himalayas and its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining areas. With this, scattered rains would commence again over Jammu and Kashmir and few places of Himachal Pradesh. With time, Uttarakhand will also start receiving rains and snowfall activity might increase as well.

In the plains, isolated rains are a possibility over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and NCR by the evening or night of February 5. Minimums are expected to rise by 2°C-3°C over the entire northwest plains of the country.

Sky over Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh might become partly cloudy sans any weather activity over Central India. Due to warm and humid winds from southwest, minimums are also expected to rise over Gujarat, Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh. Almost all the places would witness minimums above normal. Weather will be dry with warm day.

A Cyclonic Circulation is seen over South Assam. Since, there is no weather activity taking place up here, weather would be dry and warm over northeastern states. Moderate to dense fog is expected over East Uttar Pradesh and parts of Bihar.

Down South, the easterly humid winds are expected over Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Isolated light rains might occur over southern districts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Places like Karaikal, Tuticorin and Thiruvananthapuram might witness cloudy sky with light rains in offing. Rest places to witness dry weather.
