Beginning with North, a Western Disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir. Hence, scattered light to moderate rain and thundershower activities and snow would be a sight over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. It is expected that Uttarakhand might receive one or two heavy spells as well.
A trough is also seen extending from northwest Uttar Pradesh up till Bangladesh. Light to moderate rain and thundershower might occur over northern parts of Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and isolated spells would be seen over national territory, Delhi too.
Thus, during the next 24 hours, places like Srinagar, Qazigund, Manali, Dharamshala, Nainital, Mussoorie, Dehradun would witness scattered rain and snowfall. Whereas, Pathankot, Chandigarh, Ambala, Bijnor, Saharanpur, Bahraich, Lucknow, Kanpur and Bareilly would witness light to moderate rain and thundershower activities.
The trough would also give scattered rain and thundershower activities over the foothills of East Uttar Pradesh, parts of Bihar and many parts of Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. Places like Gorakhpur, Patna, Bhagalpur, Ranchi, Daltonganj, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Diamond Harbor and Bhubaneswar would witness scattered rain and thundershower activities. Possibility of lightning strikes cannot be ruled out.
Talking about northeast India, light to moderate intermittent rain and thundershower activities would be a sight for the region.

Meanwhile in Central India, a trough is extending from North Rajasthan to South Gujarat. Thus, isolated thundery activities are expected over central parts of Rajasthan like Churu, Jaipur and Alwar. Weather over Surat and Ahmedabad in Gujarat, Mumbai, Pune and Nashik in Maharashtra would be completely dry. Isolated rains are a possibility over Raipur, Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh and Satna, Rewa in Madhya Pradesh.
Down South, a trough is seen extending from Jharkhand to South Interior Karnataka across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Thus, one can expect short spells of rains are possible over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Weather of Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka would be dry.
