A fresh Western Disturbance is over North Afghanistan and its adjoining areas. Thus, isolated light rain over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh can be witnessed. The northern plains of the country would remain dry. Due to the blowing of cold dry winds from northwest, both day and night temperatures are expected to drop over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. Places like Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Hisar, Jhansi and Kota would witness similar weather conditions. Talking about pollution, the levels over Delhi and NCR will be in a moderate category with satisfactory over isolated pockets.
An Anti-Cyclone is over west-central Bay of Bengal off North Andhra Pradesh coast. Due to this, humid winds from Bay of Bengal are merging with the cold winds from northwest over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. Thus, leading to isolated rain activities over Nagpur, Raipur, Bilaspur, Umaria and Mandla. Weather of Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra will be dry with marginal drop in both day and night temperatures.
A Cyclonic Circulation is seen over eastern parts of Assam and its neighbouring areas. We expect light and scattered rains over places in East Assam like Dibrugarh and Tinsukia. Upper reaches of Arunachal Pradesh like Upper Siang and Dibang Valley might witness isolated snowfall. Rest of the northeastern states would witness dry weather. Light rain and thundery activity might occur over parts of Jharkhand like Gumla, Khunti and Ranchi. Day and night temperatures might drop marginally over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Down South, humid warm winds are likely to blow over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana because of an Anti-Cyclone over Bay of Bengal. Minimums might rise by one to two degrees. The remaining parts of South India will be dry.
