A fresh Western Disturbance is approaching Jammu and Kashmir and its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over North Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab and Haryana. Thus, scattered rain and snow would commence over Jammu and Kashmir which is expected to increase gradually. As the system would move eastward, rains would initiate over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand as well. Possibility of few heavy spells over the hilly states cannot be ruled out.
An east-west trough is extending from South Pakistan across this induced Cyclonic Circulation up till West Uttar Pradesh. Many parts of North and West Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana would also receive rain and thundershower activities with possibility of hailstorm at few places. Scattered rains are also possible over Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.
A Confluence zone has formed over central parts of the country due to merging of southwesterly winds from Arabian Sea and south-easterlies from Bay of Bengal. Thus, scattered rain and thundershowers would be seen over Madhya Pradesh, parts of Vidarbha and North Madhya Maharashtra. Weather would remain dry over rest of the places. However, the minimums might increase further over Gujarat and many parts of Madhya Pradesh.
