To begin with North India, a fresh Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan and its induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan. Therefore, scattered light rains will commence over Jammu and Kashmir and isolated rains over Himachal Pradesh. Day and night temperatures of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh will increase. Pollution in Delhi-NCR may also increase marginally.
Dry weather conditions are expected to continue over entire central parts of India. Day and night temperatures of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and West Madhya Pradesh will increase marginally. Cold wave conditions will abate from parts of Vidarbha and North Madhya Maharashtra. Isolated thundery activities are possible over North Madhya Maharashtra and adjoining South Gujarat.

In East/Northeast India, easterly winds are expected to continue over Northeast India. Isolated light rain is possible over Arunachal Pradesh. Weather of rest northeastern states will remain dry. Minimums may increase marginally over Bihar, Jharkhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
Lastly in South India, the trough which was persisting over parts of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu has weakened, therefore we expect weather to become dry over entire southern peninsula.
