Weather Forecast Dec 29: An upper air CC lies over North Konkan coast, light rain likely in many parts of Central India

Central India An upper air Cyclonic Circulation lies over North Konkan coast and its adjoining regions in the lower levels. Due to this system, moist winds are affecting Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. However light rain is likely to affect some places in these regions.  Due to northwesterly cold winds, the weather in many parts of Central India will remain dry. Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh will be and under the grip of cold wave conditions.A comfortable day with sunny sky conditions and cool nights is likely to prevail in Vidharbha and South Chhattisgarh.
 
Down South An upper air trough is extending from Kerala up to South Konkan. Due to this, Karnakata, Goa and Kerala will observe light rain at isolated places due to the northeasterly moist winds from the Bay of Bengal.We also expect light rain and thundershower in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.

In The Eastern Parts Of The Country many parts will observe dry weather conditions with moderate to dense fog during the early morning hours. Bihar, parts of North Jharkhand and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal will also observe cold wave conditions. While Odisha and other parts of East India will observe pleasant day conditions. Dry weather conditions will prevail in the northeastern states. The morning will be cold and foggy while the day will be pleasant with partly cloudy sky.
 
Up In The North A feeble Cyclonic circulation lies over central parts of Uttar Pradesh. Another Cyclonic Circulation lies over southeastern parts of Rajasthan. During early morning hours, moderate to dense fog will continue to be observed in the Northwest plains. Sky conditions will remain clear due to which the night temperatures will decrease further resulting in cold wave conditions over entire northern and northwest parts of the country. The temperatures will decrease further in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and UP. Delhi pollution will remain in poor to very poor category.
