Dry weather conditions will continue in the northern parts of the hills. Cold Wave conditions may prevail at many areas with dense fog especially over the hills of North with cool day to persist.Over the plains of North India, northwesterly cool and dry winds will prevail which may lead to cold day conditions with a marginal improvement in day temperature.
Dense fog is likely at some places and moderate at many places in the morning over the northwestern plains. Delhi to witness moderate fog with chilly winds and cold day type conditions. While the pollution levels will be in moderate to poor category.
Heading to east and northeastern states of our country, the trough over South Jharkhand has now become insignificant and a Cyclonic Circulation over Nagaland and adjoining areas is seen.

Light rain is possible over Arunachal Pradesh, East Assam and Nagaland. Dry weather will be seen over eastern states of our country. While moderate to dense fog is likely at many parts of eastern and northeastern states. Day will be comfortable over East India, however as the northwesterly cool and dry winds are expected to set in over East India, thus Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal may witness drop in day temperature and minimums may fall over entire eastern states.
Whereas, isolated places of coastal stations of Odisha may witness dense fog.Heading to central parts of our country wherein mainly dry weather is expected. Partly cloudy sky can be seen over South Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.
Night temperature is likely to drop over the most parts of central India by a couple of degrees.Down South, moderate northeasterly winds will continue along Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh coast. Hence, scattered light with isolated moderate showers are likely over South Andhra Pradesh coast, extreme south Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Dry and comfortable weather will be a sight over rest parts of the region.
