A Cyclonic Circulation is over North Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas and the Axis of Monsoon Trough is extending from Northwest Rajasthan to North Bay of Bengal. Therefore, we expect light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells over North and West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, parts of Gujarat and North Chhattisgarh.
Light to moderate rains are also possible over Konkan and Goa and isolated rains will be seen over Vidarbha, South Chhattisgarh and southern districts of Madhya Pradesh. Mumbai is likely to witness light rains.
In the eastern parts of the country, rain activities will decrease. Scattered light rains with one or two moderate spells are possible over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and parts of Jharkhand. While isolated rains will be seen over South Bihar. Scattered light to moderate rains is possible over parts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. Patna, Ranchi and Kolkata may see light rains with nearly dry weather in Gaya.

Down South, the Monsoon surge will remain active over Kerala and Coastal Karnataka. Therefore, moderate rains with one or two heavy spells may occur over Kerala, parts of Coastal Karnataka. One or two short spells are also possible over Interior Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka. Andaman and Nicobar Islands may receive moderate to heavy rains. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and North Interior Karnataka will witness dry weather conditions with isolated light rains. Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai might experience dry weather.
Finally, in North, almost dry weather conditions are expected over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and North Rajasthan. Isolated localised thundery activities cannot be ruled out over these places. Scattered light to moderate rains will continue over parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Aligarh, Agra, Mathura and Bareilly might witness scattered light rains with one or two moderate spells and rain thundershowers.
