The axis of Monsoon Trough is extending from Northwest Rajasthan to Northwest Bay of Bengal across the Low-Pressure Area which is over North-Central Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas. Hence, moderate to heavy rains over Southeast Rajasthan and scattered light to moderate over East Rajasthan, many parts of North and Northeast Madhya Pradesh will be a sight. Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Alwar, Bhilwara, and Tonk in Rajasthan while Guna, Sheopur, Tikamgarh and Sagar in Madhya Pradesh will be impacted by these rain activities. Moderate to heavy rains are also possible over Konkan and Goa and scattered light to moderate spells will be seen over Madhya Maharashtra, parts of Vidarbha, Marathwada and South Chhattisgarh. Along with this, Mumbai may also see few short spells of moderate rains.
As the axis of Monsoon Trough will now shift to North, therefore rain and thundershowers may commence over Delhi and NCR, many parts of Punjab, Haryana and parts of West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. Moderate showers are very likely over the foothills of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand with isolated spells over Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile in East and Northeast India, a Cyclonic Circulation is over central Assam. Also, humid winds form the Bay of Bengal are feeding moisture to the eastern and the northeastern states of the country. Hence, moderate rains are possible over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. Light rains with one or two moderate spells will be seen over rest Northeast India, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha.
Finally, down South, in the absence of any weather system, Monsoon continues to remain subdued over South India. However, few moderate spells are possible over Coastal Karnataka, northern districts of Telangana. While light rains can be seen over interior parts of Karnataka, Kerala and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile isolated rains will be seen over Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema. Bengaluru and Chennai will witness dry weather.
