To begin with North India, a Western Disturbance lies over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining region. Its associated induced cyclonic circulation is seen over North Rajasthan and adjoining South Haryana. Due to these systems, rain and thundershowers will occur over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Isolated places in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi will observe dust storm and thundershower with strong winds. Due to the trough extending across southern parts of Uttar Pradesh, scattered places in Uttar Pradesh will also witness dust storm and thundershowers.
In East/Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation lies over Jharkhand and adjoining Bihar. A trough is running from this system to Assam across West Bengal. Since moist winds are affecting over the eastern states, rain and thundershowers will occur over scattered places of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal. Another cyclonic circulation is persisting over Meghalaya and adjoining Assam. Thus, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected over the northeastern states.
In Central India, North Madhya Pradesh may also witness spell of dust storm and thundershowers. A cyclonic circulation lies over North Chhattisgarh. Therefore, spell of rain and thundershowers will occur over Chhattisgarh. Rest parts of Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha will remain dry and hot. Isolated places will also observe heatwave conditions in these states.

In South India, a trough/wind discontinuity is running from Central India to Tamil Nadu across Karnataka. Light to moderate rains will occur in parts of Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
