Weather Forecast April 6: Dust-storm in Punjab and Haryana, Rain in Bihar-Jharkhand

To begin with North, the Western Disturbance over North of Jammu and Kashmir is now moving away eastward. Thereby, we can expect isolated light rains over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Also, isolated dust storm/ thunderstorm with light rain activities are a possibility over northern parts of Punjab and Haryana and parts of West Uttar Pradesh.

Moving to East, a Cyclonic Circulation is over East Bihar and a trough is extending from this system across Jharkhand and Odisha. Another, Cyclonic Circulation is over Assam and Meghalaya. Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are possible over Bihar, Jharkhand with one or two heavy spells over West Bengal. While, isolated light rains might be a sight over East Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.
On the other hand, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura might get good rains but Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya would receive light rains at one or two places.

Meanwhile in Central India, dry winds from northwest would continue over Rajasthan, Gujarat and most parts of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Heatwave conditions would continue over parts of West and South Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada. Whereas, isolated rain could be a sight over North Madhya Pradesh and parts of Chhattisgarh but relief from hot weather is not likely.

Down South, a trough is seen extending via Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and South Interior Karnataka. Hence, isolated rain activities might occur over Interior Karnataka and Kerala. There are chances of thunderstorm activities at one or two places of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
