To begin East/Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation lies over North Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh. A north-south trough is extending from this system up to North Bay of Bengal. Therefore, we expect scattered rains to continue over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and northeastern states. Weather in East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand will remain almost dry with isolated rains in few pockets. Due to a confluence zone, Coastal Odisha may receive thunderstorm activity.
Moving towards Central India, heatwave conditions will continue in parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Temperatures are expected to rise further resulting in heatwave over few more parts of Vidarbha and Marathwada. However, due to the cyclonic circulation over Marathwada, isolated light rain and thunderstorm activities are possible in Marathwada and South Madhya Maharashtra.
In South India, temperatures in North Telangana and Rayalaseema region will remain above normal. Due to the trough, isolated thunderstorm may occur in few places of Karnataka, Kerala and South Tamil Nadu.

Up in North India, a feeble Western Disturbance is likely to approach the Western Disturbance. Therefore, isolated light rains are expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In fact, due to the trough extending across central parts of Rajasthan, dust storm activity will occur in West Rajasthan. Weather in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh will remain dry with increasing day temperatures.
