With the onset of Monsoon over Kerala and Northeast India on May 30, wait for Southwest Monsoon has begun all over the country.
At present, the Northern Limit of Monsoon has run across Kochi, Tondi, Aizwal, Kohima and Devamali.
Let us now have a look when the Monsoon is likely to reach other parts of the country!
Progressing at its normal pace monsoon will cover many parts of Karnataka including Bangalore between June 1 to 3. At the same time, it will also cover remaining parts of Northeast India including Guwahati.
Thereafter from June 5 or 6, Monsoon current will reach Telangana including Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and Goa.
Mumbai will not be too far and Monsoon will cover state capital of Maharashtra along with Nagpur, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar in Odisha from June 7 to 10.
Monsoon rains will start lashing Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, Patna in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand from June 12 to June 14.

Next stop for Monsoon will be Gujarat and East Uttar Pradesh, wherein places like Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Allahabad, Varanasi will witness first spell of Monsoon between June 15 and 17. Subsequently, Monsoon would most likely to reach Lucknow between June 20 and 22.

Thereafter by June 24 and 27, Monson will reach Delhi-NCR, Agra and Jaipur. Simultaneously, Monsoon rains would also be witnessed over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
Monsoon is expected to cover more parts of Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana in the first week of July and by July 15, monsoon will cover entire country.
