A fresh Western Disturbance is affecting North India. It will bring light rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir during next 24 hours. While, there will be only light clouding over the plains. Therefore the rising trend of temperatures will continue.
Temperature in Delhi will settle at 35 degrees on Wednesday. While, Punjab and Haryana could be cooler but still above 30 degrees.
Moving on to Central India, heat wave conditions will continue over most parts of Gujarat and adjoining west Rajasthan, extending upto parts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The temperatures in Ahmedabad and Solapur have already touched 40 degrees. Nasik, Nagpur and adjoining areas will soon cross the 40 degree mark.
Rayalseema and Telangana are the two other hottest pockets of the country. Places like Tirupathy, Kurnool have already crossed 40 degrees. Interiors are also very hot at present, with maximum in Gulbarga will be settling at 40 degrees tomorrow. Some isolated light rain could bring down temperatures over the west coast.
