It’s summer calling for Delhi and most parts of the country. Temperatures in North India have been on a rising spree. Afternoon has been extremely hot with maximums crossing 30 degrees for the last two days. Tomorrow, maximum and minimum temperatures in Delhi will be 34 and 19 degrees, respectively.

According to the latest forecast, there will be no respite from the heat as both day and night temperatures will continue to rise during the next 24-48 hours.

Gujrat seems to be hottest state at present. Most of the places including Rajkot, Deesa, Idar, Ahmedabad, Baroda, have touched 40 degrees. Its nothing unusual for the interiors but even the coastal station of Naliya has crossed 40 degrees. Heat wave conditions are prevailing in many parts ofthe state. Relief is likely only after 3-4 days.

Even Maharashtra is witnessing extremely hot weather. Sholapur recorded 40.6 degrees on Sunday. Nashik, Nagpur, Akola, Pune and adjoining areas are recording maximums in higher thirties. Some temporary relief is likely after a short spell of rain on the 25th or 25th of March. A longer spell is expected on the 29th. It will be good enough to bring a drop in temperatures.

Rayalseema and Telangana are witnessing pre-monsoon conditions. Kurnool has already touched 40 degrees. Other places like Anantapur, Tirupati and Hyderabad will be at 39 degrees tomorrow.
