The southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Chhattisgarh, remaining parts of Odisha and West Bengal and some parts of Jharkhand.
The Off-shore trough extending from South Gujarat up to Kerala continue to persist along the west coast, the cyclonic circulation in the Arabian Sea has intensified into a low pressure area.
However, as the system moves westwards away from Indian coast, we could witness decrease in rain intensity along the west coast. Mumbai will also get some relief.
The depression over North Bay of Bengal has moved inland between Puri and Gopalpur coast in Odisha. In wake of this, heavy to very heavy rain is expected over Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Vidharbha, South Odisha and parts of South and East Madhya Pradesh.
Another cyclonic circulation is prevailing over North Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab and a trough of this extending up to the center of the depression.
On Monday, we can expect scattered light to moderate rain over the places across the trough line which include plains of North Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
