Rain splashed all your plans for the last three weekends. But its time enjoy dry weather conditions right from North to South and East to West. In fact all the metro cities across the country, except for Delhi, will be extremely hot.

The last spell of rain brought down temperatures significantly across North India. Maximums dropped by 10-15 degrees in the hills, while the plains witnessed a 5-10 degrees drop. But as rain has receded temperatures have shown a gradual rise in the last two to three days.

Over the weekend, maximums in the hills will be near normal. Srinagar will be around 16°C. Minimums in the hills will also be positive in the range of 2-5°C. But higher reaches will still witness sub-zero temperatures.

Coming down to the plains, Delhi will be pleasantly warm with maximums around 30°C. Punjab and Haryana will experience similar conditions with day temperatures round 26°C.

East India is also quite hot at present. Kolkata, Bnkura, Jamshedpur will have maximums around 34°C.

Coming down to Peninsular India, no relief from hot weather in Mumbai, Chennai and most of the metros.

In absence of any weather activity at present, Rayalseema is the hottest part of the country. Anantapur, Kurnool, Tirupati are recording temperatures around 38-39°C.

The interiors are hot while the coastal stations are hot as well as humid.
