Wind pattern over the region has changed from easterly to hot and dry northwesterlies. Winds blowing from south Pakistan and Rajasthan will heat up North India and Central India.
The cyclonic circulation now lies over Arunachal Pradesh. The trough extending from sub-Himalayan West Bengal to Odisha will bring rain over north Bihar, foothills of Himalayas and Northeast India over the weekend.
In Peninsular India, the easterly wave will bring rain over Kerala and parts of Tamil Nadu. Rain will decrease over Tamil Nadu by Sunday and temperatures will start increasing.
