North India witnessed a pleasant Wednesday as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan witnessed dust storm followed by thundershowers.
The Western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir and the feeble cyclonic circulation over Haryana had triggered the pre-Monsoon activity, which will now follow a reducing trend.
Meanwhile, rain activity will continue over East and Northeast India on account of a cyclonic circulation that is still persisting over Bihar and adjoining areas.
As a result, people across Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and northeastern states are enjoying pleasant weather.
Another cyclonic circulation over south Tamil Nadu and adjoining Bay of Bengal will continue to bring widespread rain in Peninsular India. The intensity of rain will vary from moderate to heavy.
The temperatures in North India are still around or below normal. However, Day temperatures will shoot up as soon as the weather systems move away.
Due to pre-Monsoon activity in North, East and South India, maximums are not shooting up in rest of the places as well. Heat wave conditions have eased out in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and parts of Maharashtra. Temperatures will maintain levels in South India as well. Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Sikkim. Fairly widespread rain in South India have brought down temperatures around mid-thirties in most of the states.
