March lures us with spring like temperatures, sweet chirping of birds and pleasant weather with moderate temperatures. But with just a blink of an eye, rain splashes all your hopes of that outdoor picnic or barbeque party with your loved ones over the weekend. Yes, yet another rainy weekend ahead for the country.
Blame it on Western Disturbance in North India, cyclonic circulation in Central parts and pre-monsoon activity in the South. But Alas! Northeast India, Odisha, West Bengal, and Andhra Pradesh will not be as lucky.
Plains of North India will start receiving rain from Friday night. It’s the third weekend in succession when the sun is going to be in a mood to play hide and seek. Day temperatures across North India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh are most likely to experience a dip as light rain begins tonight onwards. In Delhi maximum touched 28.5 degrees on Thursday. In fact, in most places of Punjab, Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh temperatures are above 25 degrees.
But after the spell of rain on Saturday and Sunday, maximum will come down to 22- 23 degrees. By Sunday, even Bihar, Jharkhandand Chhattisgarh will also come under the purview of the weather systems and receive rain for at least 24 hours.
The minimum temperatures will also witness a rise due to rain. Monday will hopefully bring pleasant weather back in action.
In Central India, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat will also receive some rain on Saturday.
