In span of last 24 hours, Dibrugarh in Assam recorded 31 mm of rain, followed by Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh at 23 mm.

Central India is enjoying clear weather with northwesterly winds blowing over the northern parts of Madhya Pradesh. While, the southern half of Central India is witnessing easterly and southeasterly winds. Maximum temperatures across Gujarat and Rajasthan were settling below average. But are now crawling back to normal. Day temperature in Ahmedabad on Friday will be around 39 degrees and Surat 35 degrees.

In South India, winds from either side of the coast are causing wind discontinuity over Tamil Nadu. As a result isolated light pre-monsoon rain will continue over the region and adjoining Kerala.
