National Weather Video Report For 09-04-2015

People in North India continue to enjoy pleasant weather as temperatures are way below normal in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. Thanks to rain over the region brought by the Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir. Maximums in Amritsar, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Ambala and Karnal are around 10 degrees below normal. Cool north-westerly winds will not lead to immediate rise in temperatures.

People here will witness three days of bright sunshine. But rain will put a damper on your weekend plans once again.

The anticyclone circulation over Bay of Bengal, bringing moisture laden winds over East India, is working along with the cyclonic circulation present over West Bengal and adjoining areas to bring widespread rain over East and Northeast India. Rain will continue here for next few days.

The Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) running from Indonesia to southeast Arabian Sea, across the southern tip of India, could also be attributed to light and scattered rain in southern parts of the Peninsula. Rain will continue here at least for next 24 hours.
