The deep depression over east-central Arabian Sea is rapidly gaining strength and the cloud configuration is indicating all the features of a tropical cyclone.  According to Skymet, we can expect the weather system to intensify into a tropical storm shortly, which will be named 'Ashobaa'. 

The peripheral of the system is giving pre-Monsoon rain over parts of Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Maharashtra and Karnataka.

While the intensity of rain over Kerala has reduced but will pick up again after a gap of two to three days.

Meanwhile a cyclonic circulation over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha will be giving good rain over Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

Another cyclonic circulation is over Bihar and Jharkhand and a trough from this is extending upto Andhra Pradesh across Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Vidarbha. We can expect thunderstorm activity along the well-marked trough line.

Southwest Monsoon is active over Northeast India, giving isolated heavy to very heavy rain over northeastern states.

Moving on to North India, the region is witnessing dry weather with temperatures on the rising trend. Hills will be mostly dry, with western disturbance moving away.

Let us now have a look at the temperatures on Monday. Maximum temperatures in Delhi will settle in the range of 40 and 420°C, while minimum will settle between 26 and 28°C.

Mumbai will get relief from hot weather, with day temperature settling in range of 32 to 34. While, Bangalore will be present with day temperature settling between 30 and 32°C.
