Delhi seems to be quickly catching up with pre-monsoon thunderstorm and dust storm activity. In fact, Delhiites should brace themselves for another spell of thunderstorm accompanied by light rain tomorrow.

At present, days are fairly warm but the nights get unusually cold. After the recent spell of rain, temperatures in the national capital took a plunge. But warmer days lie ahead and tomorrow we could see temperatures rise up to 32°C.

Few spells of rain and thundershowers accompanied by hail storm over isolated parts are likely over Punjab and Haryana as well, during the next 36 hours. Rain will continue over Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir for another 48 hours.

Pre-monsoon showers commences in full swing in Northeast India. Most places here have recorded more than 100 mm of rain in the initial 5 days of the month. Agartala in Tripura have recorded 238 mm of rain so far, surpassing the monthly normal of 206 mm. Tomorrow, isolated places could receive heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorm. Rain is likely to continue in the region for next 4 to 5 days.

In last 24 hours, Passighat in Arunachal Pradesh received 8.8 mm of rain, while Guwahati in Assam recorded 6.6 mm of rain.
Down south, light rain cannot be ruled out in the interiors, along the Kerala and Tamil Nadu coast.
