June 3, 2015 10:35 PM |

Kerala still awaits arrival of Monsoon. However, we can see a cyclonic circulation over southeast Arabian Sea off the Kerala and Karnataka coast, which is expected to influence the onset of Monsoon over Kerala in next 2 to 3 days. In wake of this, rainfall will now enhance over Kerala and adjoining region.

A cyclonic circulation over Madhya Pradesh has now shifted over Bihar and Jharkhand region and a trough from this extending up to Karnataka across Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Vidharbha region.
We can expect isolated thunderstorm activity over the places along the well- marked trough line.

Meanwhile, intensity of rain will further reduce over Northeast India as the system over Assam and Meghalaya has now become less marked. But we expect rains to pick up once again after a gap of two to three days.

The Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir will bring scattered rainfall over state. While plains of Northwest India will witness a dry spell after observing a prolonged rainy spell. We can now expect day temperatures to increase across Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and NCR.

Maximum temperatures in Delhi will settle in range of 39 to 41 degrees, while minimums between 25 and 27 degrees.

Mumbai will be hot and humid with day temperature expected between 33 and 35 degrees. Meanwhile Bangalore will be pleasant with maximum temperature settling in range of 28 and 30 degrees, nights will also be cozy between 20 and 22 degrees.
