The Western Disturbance over eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir will bring good showers over entire North India. Western parts of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh will also receive scattered thundershowers on Monday.
Winds coming from the Bay of Bengal will feed moisture over entire Northeast India. As a result moderate to heavy showers will continue over the area. Tomorrow, we can expect some scattered rain over West Bengal and Odisha as well.
The trough from the cyclonic circulation over Chhattisgarh will extend up to Tamil Nadu. We could expect some thundershowers all along the trough line.
The cyclonic circulation over southwest Bay of Bengal, off the Tamil Nadu coast will bring good rain over north Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka. But, Kerala will receive patchy rain only. As of now, rain over Kerala has not gained momentum. We can expect Monsoon rain to hit Kerala by 4th of June.
Heat wave conditions are still prevailing over parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Vidharbha, Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. The death toll cross the country has crossed 2200. But, we can expect some relief after 48 hours.
Rain in Delhi will bring down temperatures to about 39°C, and maintain levels till June 4. As have been reiterated by Skymet, this spell of rain and thundershowers will come as a welcome relief from the scorching heat witnessed in Delhi for almost a week.
