Cyclone Nada is still churning in the southwest Bay of Bengal but has moved further closer to the Tamil Nadu coast. Weather models are indicating that the system is likely to cross the Indian coast, south of Puducherry close to Cuddalore between later night of Thursday and early hours of Friday. However, we expect system to weaken into a deep depression by then due to increase in vertical wind sharear and closer proximity to land.
