Thereafter, it will start recurving in north northeast direction towards North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coast. As the weather system will reach near the coast around evening of December 8 it is expected to lose its intensity due to unfavorable weather conditions such as high vertical wind shear and cooler sea surface temperatures.
Therefore, it will make landfall as a depression. As per weathermen, light rains are expected over North Andhra Pradesh coast and Odisha by December 7 which will intensify on December 8 and 9. Gangetic West Bengal as well as Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura will also witness good rains during this period.
