After reeling under warm and humid weather conditions in the past many days, rain and thundershowers are likely to return over the national capital during the next 24 hours. In fact, light rains are likely to commence over the region by late evening today itself.

By tomorrow, moderate to heavy showers will start lashing the region which is expected to continue for at least 2 days. These showers will pave way for pleasant weather, with drop in temperatures that are currently hovering near 36-38 degrees.

These rains are likely to be of moderate to heavy intensity, bringing that much needed respite to the residents.

However, with such rain activity, come the fury of water logging and massive traffic jams for long enduring hours. But that isn’t something different for Delhi and its adjoining areas of Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Gurugram.

So in spite of these rains turning the weather pleasant and enjoyable, Delhiites have to go through the bedlam of traffic jams.
