The low pressure area over East India that has been giving good rainfall over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand has now become less marked. With this, intensity of rain will reduce, however, scattered light rain will continue on Tuesday.

Up in North India, Western Disturbance continues to affect Jammu and Kashmir. As it further moves eastward, it will give good rain over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Monsoon trough is also extending from this system up to the Northeast region, passing through the weather system over Uttar Pradesh.

As a result, rain activity over Northeastern states will pick up pace once again.

Another trough can be seen from West Bengal up to Andhra Pradesh across Odisha region. And on Tuesday, we can expect light rain and thundershower activities over West Bengal, Odisha, Maharashtra, East Madhya Pradesh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Coming down to southern peninsular region, the off shore trough along the west coast continues to persist from South Maharashtra up to Kerala coast. Although it is not very active. But it will continue to give light to moderate rain over coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
