Southwest Monsoon has covered the entire country including West Rajasthan. Monsoon has performed really well in June, but July might not get that lucky.

The offshore trough running from the Gujarat coast to Kerala will continue to bring moderate to heavy Monsoon showers over coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will remain dry. Coastal areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat will get some relief from heavy showers. Rainfall activity has eased out and become light in these areas.

The low pressure area over Uttar Pradesh will bring heavy showers over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The system over West Bengal
Another low pressure area over West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh region persists. It is expected to bring heavy Monsoon rainfall over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Northeast India. The system will also bring good amounts of rain over Gangetic West Bengal, North Odisha, Bihar and Jharkhand.

Monsoon arrived over Delhi and adjoining areas on 25th of June, but rainfall activity has decrease now. We can expect some rain over the Northern plains only after a couple of days. We can see a Western Disturbance approaching. It will start affecting north India including Delhi from 30th June onward.

Maximums will start rising over Gujarat, West Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab and Haryana. Sultry conditions likely to return over the region. Temperatures in rest of country will remain near normal.
