Much awaited Southwest Monsoon has finally arrived over Delhi-NCR on Thursday, which is six days before its onset date. With this, Monsoon has covered entire country except parts of West Rajasthan.

Several Weather systems across the country are keeping Monsoon current active. A low pressure area can be seen over West Bengal and adjoining Bay of Bengal and Bangladesh. On Friday, we can expect light to moderate rain over Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Meanwhile, Depression over Gujarat has also weakened into a feeble low pressure area and is presently over West Uttar Pradesh and adjoining area. The system will be moving in northeast direction.

Up in the hills, Western Disturbance is still prevailing over Jammu and Kashmir and a trough from this extending up to the center of the Low pressure area in Bay of Bengal across the weather system over Uttar Pradesh.

We can expect scattered light to moderate rain on Friday over the places along the well-marked trough line, specially along the foothills, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Talking about the weather along the west coast, the off-shore trough extending from South Gujarat to Kerala will continue to give good rainfall over coastal parts of Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa and coastal Karnataka. However, it will not be as heavy as it was earlier.
