Rainfall has reduced across most parts of the country. For the time being Monsoon will remain active along the foothills of Himalayas and Peninsular India. The country wide rainfall deficiency now stands at 10%.
The Western Disturbance can be seen over Jammu and Kashmir. Tomorrow we can expect scattered rains over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and adjoining North Punjab.
The Monsoon trough will shift closer to the foothills of the Himalayas. Consequently we can expect some rain over northern parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The cyclonic circulation could be seen over North Bangladesh and adjoining Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. A low pressure area could develop over the Bay anytime now. Tomorrow fairly widespread rainfall likely over West Bengal and Coastal Odisha. Scattered rains likely over Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh.
The intensity of rainfall has reduced significantly over Northeast India.
A trough from this circulation will extend up to Tamil Nadu, across Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. Scattered rains likely along the trough.
The feeble off-shore trough running along the West Coast will bring rain over Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala.
Remaining parts of the country will witness light Monsoon showers. West Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Madhya Pradesh will remain mostly dry.
