The Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir seems to be affecting all the three hilly states of North India.
The Monsoon trough is extending from Rajasthan up to East central Bay of Bengal across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Scattered rainfall likely all along the trough line.
Gujarat has been one of the driest states so far this season. But now a cyclonic circulation over Gujarat and adjoining Rajasthan region is bringing good showers over the state. Tomorrow we could expect moderate showers over Gujarat and Coastal Maharashtra.
The cyclonic circulation over Chhattisgarh and adjoining Odisha region will bring active Monsoon conditions over Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, East Madhya Pradesh and Odisha.
We can see another cyclonic circulation coming up over North Bay of Bengal. This weather system will be responsible some rainfall over West Bengal and Jharkhand on Thursday. Northeast India will receive scattered rainfall only
The offshore trough will be active all along the West Coast. It will heavy showers, mainly over Kerala, Konkan & Goa.
Maximums in the northern plains will be above normal. No significant Monsoon activity has been witnessed in last 24 hours in this region. In rest of the country we expect temperatures to remain near normal levels.
