Southwest Monsoon remains vigorous over West Madhya Pradesh and is active over parts of East Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal and coastal Karnataka. Let us now have a detailed look at the weather across the country.
Fresh Western Disturbance have started affecting hills of North India and is presently stationed over North Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir. On Tuesday we can expect light to moderate rain over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
A cyclonic circulation can be seen over North Punjab and trough from this is extending up to the low pressure area over West Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Southeast Uttar Pradesh. Interaction between these two weather systems will give light to moderate rain over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and East Rajasthan.
Meanwhile Monsoon trough is running from North Rajasthan up to Bay of Bengal across Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Accordingly we can expect Monsoon showers all along the trough line.
Another cyclonic circulation can be seen over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining Jharkhand and will give fairly widespread rain over these areas including North Odisha.
Good Monsoon activity can also be expected all along the West Coast due to the active off-shore trough extending from Maharashtra up to Kerala, with heavy showers over coastal Karnataka. Intensity of rain in Mumbai will also pick up any time soon.
Meanwhile scattered rain will continue over Chhattisgarh, Telangana and interior parts of Karnataka.
