Southwest Monsoon has been active over most parts of the country, while it was vigorous over Central India. Let us have a detailed at the weather across the country.

Fresh Western Disturbance is affecting hills of North India. On Monday we can expect scattered light rain over parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The Monsoon trough is passing through South of Delhi from Bikaner, Jaipur, Daltonganj, Diamond Harbour, up to east central Bay of Bengal. With this, we can expect fairly widespread moderate showers over parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.

The cyclonic circulation over West Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Uttar Pradesh has intensified into low pressure area. And as the system move westwards, heavy rains are expected over southeast Rajasthan and central and east Gujarat.

Another cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal, off Gangetic West Bengal will intensify into a low pressure area any time soon. Moderate to heavy rainfall will continue over Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and parts of Odisha.

The offshore trough along the West Coast has now gained strength and is extending from Kerala up to Maharashtra. It is likely to bring heavy showers over coastal Karnataka and Kerala, while it will be moderate over Konkan & Goa. Coastal areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat will also receive light rain.

In view of the rains, temperatures across the country are settling close to normal.
