Monsoon showers will start on a weak note but overall it will be normal in July. At the moment, we can see the Western Disturbance moving away eastwards. It still has the potential of bringing light rain over the hilly states of North India. Uttarakhand could receive good showers as well.

The cyclonic circulation over Pakistan and adjoining North Rajasthan persist. We cannot rule out the possibility of light rain and thundershowers over parts Punjab and Haryana on Thursday.

The low pressure area over Uttar Pradesh has weakened into a feeble system, but it’ll bring good showers over East Uttar Pradesh and the foothills of Bihar.

Meanwhile, the cyclonic circulation over North Bay of Bengal will bring good Monsoon rain over coastal areas of Odisha, West Bengal and even Andhra Coast.

In fact, we can expect some rain activity all along the Monsoon trough, joining all the three weather systems.

No break from Monsoon showers in the North Eastern states.

In Central India, this pocket comprising of Gujarat, Maharashtra and adjoining Madhya Pradesh will be almost dry tomorrow.

But, the offshore trough running from the Gujarat coast to Kerala will continue to bring moderate to heavy Monsoon showers over coastal Karnataka, Konkan & Goa. Kerala will receive scattered rainfall.

Maximums will rise a little over Northwest India. Temperatures will be 5 to 7 degree Celsius below normal in places receiving heavy showers like East Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
