The Low pressure area that has given heavy to very rainfall over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana has shifted west-northwestwards and is now over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining parts of Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

The system will now give fairly widespread rain with isolated heavy showers over Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan and North Maharashtra. Scattered showers can also be witnessed over Gujarat.

Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha and Chhattisgarh will continue with scattered light rain on Friday.

Northeast India will also witness increase in intensity of rain due to change in wind pattern.

Up in the hills, a fresh Western Disturbance can be seen approaching North India and is presently stationed over North Pakistan. Meanwhile, a feeble cyclonic circulation can be seen over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab region.

With this, we can expect isolated rain activity over the plains of North India on Friday.
Monsoon trough is presently running south of its normal position and is extending from Rajasthan up to Bay of Bengal across the center of low pressure area. Accordingly we can expected light to moderate weather activity all along the trough line.

Moving down south, off-shore trough continues to persist along the West Coast. However it is more marked over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Both the region will get good Monsoon showers on Friday.
