Several weather systems across the country has kept Southwest Monsoon active, particularly over Uttarakhand and Bihar which have been receiving heavy to very heavy rainfall.
A fresh Western Disturbance is affecting North India, and will be giving good rain over hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. While, an induced cyclonic circulation is over north and central Pakistan and adjoining areas.
The Monsoon trough can be seen extending from this system up to Northeast Bay of Bengal across parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal. All the systems combined together will give moderate to heavy rains over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal on Tuesday.
Northeast India will also continue to witness scattered rainfall during next 24 hours, with heavy rains at isolated places. A fresh weather system is seen brewing in North Bay of Bengal and as the system gains strength, intensity of rains will reduce over the Northeast region as it will take away all the moisture.
Another trough can be seen extending from the weather system over Bihar up to coastal Andhra Pradesh across Jharkhand and Odisha. On Tuesday we can expect light to moderate rain activity across the trough line.
Moving down south, the feeble off-shore trough along the West Coast continues to extend from coastal Karnataka and Kerala and will give light to moderate rain over these areas only.
Meanwhile, West, Central and interiors of Peninsula will get to isolated weather activity only.
