The cumulative rainfall deficiency for the country is expected to come down to 6% by tomorrow. The Southern Peninsula of India is the worst performing region of India so far and this part will continue to be at risk.

The Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir could bring some rain over the hilly states.

There is one low pressure area over Punjab and adjoining areas and the other one over Madhya Pradesh. The Monsoon trough is running across these two weather systems up to Puri and finally Bay of Bengal. The areas lying in between the low pressure areas, including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh, will receive some rain. Northeast India will receive good showers.

Southwest Monsoon will be vigorous over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas of Gujarat and Maharashtra. The weather system hovering over this region has already brought some record breaking rain in Madhya Pradesh and parts of Maharashtra.

There is another trough extending from Andhra Pradesh up to Tamil Nadu. Tomorrow we can expect some light to moderate showers over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, Telangana and coastal Tamil Nadu.

The off-shore trough will bring some rain right from Kerala up to Konkan & Goa.

Temperatures are above normal in Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Telangana and relatively drier parts of the country. Day temperatures will be below normal in Central parts of the country.
