A cyclonic circulation is marked over east-central Bay of Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh and will bring fairly widespread rainfall over West Bengal, Odisha, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura.

Moving up to the northern region, a fresh western Disturbance is approaching North India and is presently marked over North Pakistan and adjoining areas. Moreover western end of Monsoon trough is passing though the foothills of Himalayas.

Both the systems combined together will cause light to moderate rain over the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile eastern end of the Monsoon trough is passing through Bihar, West Bengal and further up to Bay of Bengal. While secondary arm of the trough is running through Northeast region.

With this we can expect good showers over Bihar, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya. While heavy to very heavy rain will be observed over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim region.

Meanwhile down south, a trough can be seen extending from Rayalaseema region up to Gulf of Mannar across Tamil Nadu. With this we can expect widespread good rain and thundershowers over Kerala, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and southern parts of Rayalaseema.

Remaining parts of the country will continue with isolated light rainfall barring parts of northwestern plains including Delhi. As a result, both maximum and minimum temperatures will increase by two to three degrees over the region.
