Slight improvement in the flood-like situation likely in West Bengal, as the intensity of rain will reduce significantly.
The Western Disturbance over North Pakistan will move towards Jammu and Kashmir. It could bring scattered rainfall over the hills of North India.
There is another low pressure area over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining Punjab region. The Monsoon trough is running from the centre of this low, across Meerut, Sultanpur and the weather system over Jharkhand.
Thus, we can expect some good showers in North Rajasthan and adjoining South Punjab for next 24 hours. Scattered light rains likely in Delhi-NCR.
The well-marked low pressure area, lying over Jharkhand will gradually weaken into a low pressure area. It will keep losing strength gradually, while moving in a westward direction. Tomorrow fairly widespread rain and thundershowers will be witnessed Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and East Madhya Pradesh. But, rain will now reduce over West Bengal. Good Monsoon showers are expected over Northeastern states as well.
A cyclonic circulation over West Madhya Pradesh will give light to moderate rains over many parts of the state.
The feeble offshore trough will bring light to moderate rainfall all along the West Coast.
Maximums will be near normal in most parts of the country, barring few states in Peninsular India. Temperatures will be above normal in, Rayalaseema and parts of Marathwada.
