Heavy lightning and thunder broke out over Mumbai in the evening today, which will continue over the city and its nearby areas for the next 3 to 4 hours. Intense rain may also occur at many places but this will only last for a short duration of 2 to 3 hours.This is a localised phenomenon which is not meant to last long. However, it will play spoil sport for the city by causing traffic jams and water logging in many areas during night.
