Rain is expected to increase over Jharkhand, north Orissa, Chhattisgarh and some parts of east Madhya Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh and Bihar may also receive light rain.
Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh will face similar weather conditions with moderate spells at some places in the hills. East Rajasthan will continue to get light rain which will decrease further in the coming days.
As we look at the northeast, light rain is expected to occur at many places here with moderate spells at some places.
On the other hand interior parts of south India will be mainly dry. North Andhra Pradesh coast may receive scattered light rain whereas moderate spells will continue at many places in the west coast.
Meanwhile, rain in the commercial capital Mumbai is expected to increase marginally on Tuesday and decrease thereafter.
Situation in the capital Delhi will be no different as hot and humid days will continue to bother people here. Though, cloudy day is expected today with some short spells at few places.
