Rain to continue over Gujarat, west MP

The low pressure area in adjoining parts of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will continue to bring rain in the region in next 48 hours. Moderate rain will continue at many places over southeast Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh and south coastal Gujarat. Few places like Gandhinagar, Surat and Ahmedabad in Gujarat will witness heavy rain in this period. Intensity of rain will start decreasing from tomorrow onwards. West Rajasthan will get reprieve from the hot weather as temperatures are expected to fall due to cloud and rain.

The weather in Delhi and other parts of northwest plains will be humid due to reach of easterly winds. Thunder development at one or two places in northwest plains cannot be ruled out. Temperature in Delhi will start rising from today onwards. Rain will remain subdued in northeast and south Peninsula. Above normal temperatures will maintain in northeast. South interior peninsula will also witness rise in temperatures.
