Rain expected in Delhi, NCR in next 24 hours

After witnessing dry spell and rising mercury levels for past few days, the national capital Delhi is heading for a reprieve as rain is expected during the next 24 to 48 hours.

Sky in Delhi and adjoining areas will be cloudy. Winds will be strong ranging between 30-40 kmph. The humidity levels in Delhi and NCR will be high during the period. Dry northerly winds from north will interact with the moist easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal to bring a change in the weather that will last till tomorrow 21st of September.

Further, easterly winds from the Bay are expected to pull down maximums over Delhi and its adjoining areas. Delhi may touch 34 degrees today. Tomorrow the mercury level may drop further and settle at 32 degrees Celsius. However, cool nights will now become humid and warm at around 27 degrees.
