Intense showers expected in Delhi, NCR in next 24 hours

September 27, 2013 4:15 PM |

Short spells of intense rain and thundershowers are expected in parts of Delhi and NCR in next 24 to 48 hours which may lead to water logging and traffic jams at several places. Low lying areas would be the worst affected as flooding would be a high possibility here. Daily commuters especially office goers and school children need to heed to this alert and prepare themselves to avoid getting stuck in the rain.

Day will be windy with cloudy to partly cloudy sky bringing down temperatures to 33 and 24 degrees as maximum and minimum respectively.

Delhi has been receiving patchy rain in the last couple of weeks which has helped the temperatures to maintain in the city. Though afternoons have been a little uneasy, the mornings and evenings have been pleasant. This spell of rain will further make the weather enjoyable for Delhiites.
